#Soles4Souls: An M-Trek Outreach Program for Dumagat Community
"Moutaineering is not always about climbing. It should also be about caring and sharing - Master Xerxes
M-Trek Mountaineering Club held an Outreach Program for the Dumagat Tribe of Brgy. Cuyambay San Andres, Rizal.
With the sponsorship of Otto Shoes. We were able to give away 240 pairs of Otto Slippers for the dumagat community (kids and adults)

With that simple act, we were not just able to give them a pair of slippers but a smile on their faces and souls.
We also had a tree planting at Mt. Paliparan to help the local community save and nurture their natural resources.
In the coming months, we will try our best to visit other remote areas to give more #solesforsouls.
In that way, we will not just climb mountains for our own satisfaction but to also touch the hearts of the locals of the places we are visiting. And with that, I'm proud to be a part of M-Trek and I can truly say that I'm a confident mountaineer with a heart!
