Girl Power at National Museum.

"HINDI KA BABAE LANG, BABAE KA"

Happy International Women's Month Girl! With this, you have free access to National Museum for the whole month of March! :D

Good News: I thought only girls has free access for this month but when we went last week, I found out that transgenders can also access the museum for free. The personnel clarify that one must be cross dressed or has a make up to be identified as transgender.

The museum at the time of visit was really occupied with a lot of girls. I can't help but sing Beyonce's song "Who Run The World?" GIRLS!!! <3 Lol.

Anyway, you must register upon entering the museum. Leave your bags at the deposit area but don't worry coz there are numbers provided for your belongings. Just bring your wallets, cellphones and other valuable items with you,

Below are the visitor guidelines:

The National Museum of the Philippines is a government institution and serves as educational, scientific, anthropological, archaeological and visual artistry of the Philippines.

Some of our pictures inside National Museum...

The Spoliarium (often misspelled Spolarium) is a painting by Filipino artist Juan Luna. The painting was submitted by Luna to the Exposición Nacional de Bellas Artes in 1884 in Madrid, where it garnered the first gold medal (out of three).

The Sarimanok is a legendary bird of the Maranao people who originate from Mindanao, a major island in the Philippines. It comes from the words "sari" and "manok." "Sari" means cloth or garment, which is generally of assorted colors.
