Happy Beach Cebu: Your Ultimate Guide to the Millennial Spot and Most Photogenic Resort in PH

If there's a thing called "chick magnet", Happy Beach Cebu is definitely a "millennial magnet". EVERY-CORNER-IS-INSTAGRAMMABLE! And that's what MOST Millennial's consider when visiting a place. 

So let's start from the basic:

From the team that brought you the Inflatable Island in Subic, the iconic Bali Lounge, the world-famous Unicorn Island, and even the Dessert Museum in Manila, here comes the newest and trendiest beach getaway in the South—Happy Beach Cebu Boutique Resort. Happy Beach Cebu is located in Mactan, Cebu, alongside some of the well-known high-end resorts such as Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa and Crimson Resort.

These people sure know that in every place, just pour a heavy amount of color pink with candies, unicorns and other cute things - it will surely capture the hearts of the millennial's. I wonder if these people are millennial themselves.
HOW TO GET THERE:
Of course, you need to book a flight bound to Cebu. 
Commute from Cebu City:
1) From SM Cebu City Van terminal, ride a van to Gaisano Island Mall, Pusok, Lapu Lapu City. Fare: Approx. PHP 25
2) From Gaisano Island Mall, ride a jeepney going to Maribago and get off at Buyong Road. Fare: Approx. PHP 12
3) From Buyong Road, ride a tricycle going to Angasil Port. Fare: PHP 7
When you arrive at the port, you will immediately see the Happy Beach Booth where you need to register for the Happy Boats that will take you to the Happy Beach. Fare: PHP 50 for round-trip transfers.

These are the published rates from their website, tax not included. So just manage your expectations because we payed, 750+++ each for the Beach Pass. We didn't avail of the Inflatable Pass since my boyfriend is not feeling well. :'(

THE VERDICT 

This blog is not sponsored in any way. I'll give my personal and honest review about the resort. Undeniably, the resort was made to be the most photogenic beach in PH. With that, it has the tendency to be overcrowded especially on weekends since the hype is still on. Most visitors are millennial, posing in each and every corner. The good thing is, you don't even have to find a perfect spot because every spot is perfect for your Instagram. 

 So, aside from the repeated fact that the place is Instagrammable here are the Prons and Cons (Combined)

-Pool is too small. 
-Pool Bar is also too small for it's guest, although you can eat your orders at the lounge. 
-Food is shockingly cheap plus it has a very nice presentation.
-Beach Pass is overpriced. 
-Love the concept of Bali Lounge.
-The staffs are hospitable. 

I cannot comment regarding the Inflatable Island and Unicorn Island since we weren't able to try that one. Anyhow, I think that there is a specific time if you want to try the Inflatable.

 Rating: 8/10

 Just manage your expectation kids.

10,000 Roses Cafe

Since we're already in Mactan we also visited 10,000 roses cafe in Cordova, 30 minutes away from Happy Beach.

 LANTAW FLOATING RESTAURANT

Lantaw is just beside 10,000 roses cafe. And as Lantaw slogan says "you haven't been to Cebu if you haven't been to Lantaw". We had our dinner here after a long day. 

Budget: 1,000 to 1,500 for 2 pax.
